Scott Seeliger

Scott is a Senior Manager in Cognizant’s Global Corporate Affairs Team under the Office of the Chief Operations Officer. He’s currently assisting with Cognizant’s site review across the U.S. and is a Site Leader for the Des Moines, IA, Regional Digital Hub.  He’s also the Outreach Leader for Cognizant in Des Moines and an Ambassador in Iowa for the Government Affairs team.

As a member of the Corporate Affairs team, Scott manages many of the local and state relationships with Cognizant’s corporate partners, forming and maintaining relationships with cities, states, economic development offices, chambers of commerce and other key stakeholders.  He leads numerous initiatives across the U.S. for job growth and building expansion in key cities and states where he can utilize his 18 years of business experience.  

Scott helps determine the proper community involvement, working with key leaders in digital hubs around the U.S., and coordinates execution of some of Cognizant’s pre-employment training program incentives to help close the STEM skills gap. He serves on several boards around Des Moines, including the Downtown Des Moines Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Des Moines Partnership Regional Chamber Board, the Des Moines Embassy Club Board, the United Way Business Volunteer Council, Northern Polk Pheasants Forever Board, his church board and the American Heart Association Heart Walk Executive Leadership Team.
