Peter Borden is Chief Digital Officer for Healthcare at Cognizant, responsible for strategy, innovation, strategic partnerships and special programs across Cognizant’s healthcare business.

For the past 24 years, Peter has helped healthcare organizations realize the promise of technology as a means to deliver better health and business outcomes. In both the UK and U.S., he’s worked across payers, providers, consumer health, and the public health and life sciences sectors with a focus on customer experience & engagement, business and IT transformation, clinical informatics and health interoperability solutions.

Peter started his career in clinical research at Yale University School of Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He studied the biological basis of behavior at University of Pennsylvania, and computer sciences at Pace University.
